Kaʻieʻie

ʻIeʻie is my favorite plant in the native Hawaiian forest. Surrounded by dark greens, the fiery blossom will always catch my eye. The bright orange color of the flower stands out among the ʻōhiʻa, the ʻōlapa, and the koa.

The ʻieʻie was the first native plant that I hand-cut. I was inspired to cut this art because of its cultural significance to hula protocol.

In this very limited edition of signed prints, the ʻieʻie is my first offering, just as it might be placed on the kuahu hula. Its positive energy in the forest is unmistakable. I believe in its power to radiate.

11 x 14 Print on Archival Matte Paper. Prints are a limited edition of 25, signed by Sig Zane. For purchase, select an option with mat (unframed) or without mat. This is a pre-sale, please allow for 2-3 weeks for processing and printing.
